“Inspiration is universal and links us all."

A friend forwarded a link to a web site suggesting I check out stunning photo art. I did and was very impressed.

The next day, I was motivated to go to my jewellery studio, pull off the dust covers and make some jewellery. Something I had not done for over three years. The acetylene torch was clogged, the files were rusty and there was no new silver or gold.

Then I remembered the photo art of water dew drops which look very similar to silver in the molten state. I was inspired and worked away for a few hours honing my skills and revitalizing my tools to create a necklace and earrings.

That evening and I wore the necklace and earrings.

A design colleague came over to me and remarked

"What stunning jewellery you are wearing! Your work is always so simple and inspirational!"

"Thank you" I said. “Inspiration is universal and links us all."

Many of my designs of clothes and jewellery are inspired by things I see and hopefully you will feel inspired when you wear them.
